Protected Learning Time

Strathesk Medical Practice participates in the NHS Protected Learning Time initiative. This means that the practice closes on an afternoon six times per year to provide staff with an opportunity to address learning and professional development needs.

The practice closes between 12.30pm and 6.00pm. In the case of an emergency when the practice is closed, you should dial 999 for an ambulance.  If you require urgent medical care then please telephone NHS 24 on 111. The practice re-opens for normal service the following morning at 8.30am.

Protected Learning Time dates for 2020 announced so far are as follows:

Wednesday 5th February 2020

We will update this information as soon as it becomes available.
