Book an appointment
*COVID-19 - changes*
- Evening appointments are suspended
- We are not taking online bookings.
- Regular appointments will be by phone or video if possible.
- If you need a face to face appointment please wear a mask
All GP appointments are booked on the day - please call after 08:30am.
The reception staff will ask you the reason for your call so that they can direct you to the right person. This may be a pharmacist, a telephone call with a GP or a face to face appointment with a specialist in the practice e.g. physiotherapy, mental health nurse or blood test.
Your appointment may be over the phone - we will phone you at your appointment time so please make sure we have your correct number. We will attempt to call you twice - if you miss both calls you will need to book another appointment. Please let the receptionist know when would be a good time to call.
We may ask you to send a photograph to help the GP. Please email this to email@example.com. When you send an email you will receive an automated reply to let you know we have received the email and suitable images that you send will be saved in your health record. For more information click here.
(The practice cannot guarantee that if you send a photograph from your email account that it will be secure, and there is no guarantee the email will be received by the practice. If you do not wish to send a photograph via email the doctor will discuss alternative options.)
We are a group practice and you may see any of the doctors. You can ask to see a particular doctor but may have to wait longer.
Appointments are normally 10 minutes. If you think you will need longer please speak to reception staff. Please make a separate appointment for each member of your family.
We teach medical students. The receptionist will tell you if a student will be present at your appointment but you can decline if you wish.
Running late or need to cancel?
Please let us know as soon as possible so we can give your appointment to someone else.
